Deendayal Upadhyaya : A Vibrant Humanist by Suresh Kumar Soni.

The book is an attempt to explain, analyse and evaluate the humanism of Deendayal Upadhyaya. In this study, mainly the textual analysis of his writings has been attempted. However, to grasp the real spirit of Upadhyaya's ideas, contextual analysis has also been incorporated. The book is divided into six chapters. The "Introductory" chapter deals with the life and works of Deendayal Upadhyaya. The second chapter, "Genesis and Development of Humanism", takes into account the meaning and manifestations of humanism in the Western and the Indian thought. The third chapter, "Deendayal Upadhyaya's Integral Humanism : the social dimension", is an attempt to peep into the Indian thinkers. The fourth chapter, "Deendayal Upadhyaya's Integral humanism: the political dimension", his political ideas regarding nation, state and governments are discussed. The fifth chapter, "Deendayal Upadhyaya's Integral humanism: the economic dimension", presents his economic ideas. In the sixth, an evaluation of Deendayal Upadhyaya's integral humanism has been undertaken. The present study, Deendayal Upadhyaya :  A Vibrant Humanist, is a significant contribution in the area of Indian political and humanist thought.
